WHICH WAY ARE YOU GOING?
*HAVE YOU EVER BEEN LOST?
*How did you feel when you knew you were on the wrong road?
*What did you do about it?
*How long did it take you to get back on the right road to reach your
destination?
*God has a lot to say about the way we choose to go. Let's look at what His word
has to say.
*Read Psalms 1
*Go back to verse 1- "Blessed is the man who ______
____ in the council of the _______, Nor _______ in the ____ of ________, nor
____ in the ______ of the ________;
*God has covered the bases here, you don't stand or sit with those who are not
following Christ. Many times if you are truly striving to do the right thing,
you WILL STAND ALONE!!! Jesus did!
*Think back to the crucifixion, those that said yes Lord I will be with you 'til
the end, where did they go?????
*Think about your life this week, where did you go when it was time to STAND for
HIM?
*What does Verse 2 say to you?
*Who's delight is he talking about here?
*When I first read through it I thought the verse referred to God, notice
"he" is not capitalized. It is referring to the one who wants to
please God.
*Verse 2 - "and in _____ ____ he meditates ____ and _____. Notice that the
first line to fill in is referring to God, the Lord, and the little
"he" refers to you (if you are truly seeking Him).
*Verse 3- The one who chooses to meditate on the Lord day and night, the one who
chooses to have a real, growing relationship with the Lord shall what-(list at
least 4 things)

*Look at verse 4-5, what happens to the one (person) who chooses not to seek
God? (list 3)

*So, where does this leave you?
